The Edge Initiative
Millions of people use computers, the Internet, and technology training at public libraries to improve their lives, including finding jobs, accessing e-government services, getting health information, and continuing their education. But technology continues to evolve and libraries have to change in order to meet the needs of the community.
The Miami Public Library is one of eight libraries in the nation that are piloting a new initiative to help in assessing the quality of public technology services in the library and in setting goals for the future.
